Recent Commercial work - Dream World Kundasang Resort

My recent photography work was on a resort in Kundasang Ranau, it is exactly on the foot hill of Mount Kinabalu. A resort with many chalet to stay, price range of RM250 to RM660. Two type of rooms had a jacuzzi in it. Well I did not stay in one of it but we got a very decent room to crash on. 

A stunning view from the balcony of the room. I walked just a few meters away from our room and these are some of the landscape images I manage to capture. It is best to start shooting before the sunrises. 

Recent Photography Workshop

A landscape photography workshop was recently organise at the Borneo Images Gallery and mentor John Kong did the talk/teaching. The workshop was covered specially for basic landscape photography. The participant learn the difference of filters used,  composition and the technique on producing the landscape images.

Later after the class, I took charge of the class for outdoor on field tutorial. We went to Tanjung Aru beach for sunset shooting. I show them how to capture motion and at the same time how to deal with light on the same shot using filters.

This coming 14th April, there will be a photography field trip to Kudat Tip of Borneo for 2 days 1 night joined by me and John Kong and Cede Prudente. Anyone wanted to join this you can find out detail at Borneo Images Website www.borneoimages.com

Get the motion on the shot yet still maintain sharpness on some area.

Adobe just announce it new Photoshop CS6

Adobe just announce its new Photoshop CS6 and there are several new tools or new feature added indeed very cool. Here are 6 of the new feature added.

1. The new none destructive crop tool

2. Advance video editing.

3. Content aware move tool

4. Tilt-shift filter / Iris blur

5. Content aware move tool

6. Patch tool with content aware.

Borneo Kelly Bays

This is the first time I ever set foot on Kelly Bays Area. I used to work at near by resort to the same area but never actually visit the place. The owner of the place ask me to redesign their website which he said not been updated for more than 5 years and some of the activity picture in the web are no longer their offer. Accepting the job means I need new images of the place. Coincidently the Miss Oriental was having a photoshoot session at Kelly Bays and happen to be I'm one of the invited photographer to come and shoot. This is mean that I don't have to look for model or my shoot. I just pick any of the Miss Oriental contestant and do a photoshoot with them. I didn't shoot much of a portrait picture but I shoot mostly highlighting the place together with the model. A photograph that I can use for the website.  Now it is time for choosing the right images for use in the website.
